I’m Szilvia Salamon, enthusiast urban grower and founder of Capsul Farm. My goal is to make edible plants growing at home accessible for everyone.
I would like to spread the joy of taking care of edible plants across the city.
I truly believe that anyone can grow on a small scale healthy greens year round, that's why I've been teaching urban farming for years.
My philosophy has become a product and you can now take home your own Capsul Farm Microgreen or Mushroom Kit and start growing!

Connecting to each other and mother nature is essential in this remote work culture. In a Capsul Farm workshop team members get hands-on experience on how they can grow food in the city, reconnect with each other and the seasons.
This event will give a long lasting topic for discussion and knowledge sharing how their urban farming project is progressing week by week. You can choose from a wide range of topics, from indoor microgreen growing to raised bed gardening to coffee grounds-based mushroom growing.
I have been building school gardens and holding interactive workshops for years in international schools, where kids learn a real superpower: the magic of how from a little seed something delicious grows in front of their eyes.
The best way to stay in touch with nature is having their own gardens where kids can be involved in a daily activity. Every season offers plenty of activities both indoor and outdoor from rolling wildflower seed balls to beehotel making and beyond. Get in touch to find the best activity for your school age group.
Please check the upcoming workshops where you can meet me in person.
Events often take place in community gardens or in the city center where I'm teaming up with other city greeners.
Topics vary depending on the season. In colder months: indoor growing, hydroponic microgreens, low-tech mushrooms growing. From spring to fall: organic gardening, sowing and seedling principles, urban farming, raised bed gardening, rooftop gardening, upcycle gardening, eggs in the city, composting.
